Dear Jan,
Thank you for your comment
<http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-owl-comments/
2009Jan/0050.html>
on the OWL 2 Web Ontology Language last call drafts.
You have noticed that, in the current specification of OWL 2, only
*unary* datatype relatations (facets) are supported and that, in
theory, this restriction is unnecessary. The syntax is defined,
however, in such a way that it can be easily extended to datatype
relatations (facets) of arity larger than one. It is possible that
such an extension (to the syntax and the semantics) will be published
later as a separate document; this will depend on the state of and
experiences with implementations.
Please acknowledge receipt of this email to <mailto:public-owl-
comments@w3.org> (replying to this email should suffice). In your
acknowledgment please let us know whether or not you are satisfied
with the working group's response to your comment.
Regards,
Uli Sattler
