Hi Andy, Just finished the call [1]. Brief and no much to discuss. > Suggestion: a unique URL (IRI) for each event. (I think it is 'url' in DB > > fields) > > If you mean "where do we find this competition's home page on the > web", link to the organiser's > > No, different. I mean a place where I can find your metadata, once the organizer's page dissapears or change. I suppose it is already included as url: https://data.opentrack.run/x/<year>/<country></slug> In this case, I miss another URL, which is the official competition homepage. > >> performance_level: yes/no for each that is expected. For me, 'discipline' (a strict set of rules that controls an activity) is both RaceWalking and 50-Km-RaceWalking. It depends on the level of abstraction of the rules. If a competition is classified as <50K_RW> race, the system may understand that it is a <RW> competition. [ X ] RW |- [ ] 5K RW |- [ ] 20K RW |- [ X ] 50K RW ... EAA considers 100m, 400m and Race Walk as disciplines at the same level. http://www.european-athletics.org/athletes/disciplines/ It's just my opinion, I see no agreement anywhere. :-) All the best, Martin
