Re: Competitions calendar

Hi Andy,

Just finished the call [1]. Brief and no much to discuss.

No, different. I mean a place where I can find your metadata, once the
organizer's page dissapears or change. I suppose it is already included as
url: https://data.opentrack.run/x/<year>/<country></slug>

In this case, I miss another URL, which is the official competition
homepage.

Yes, some explanatory examples would be really useful for those who doesn't
know it.

Me neither :-)

I'll try. For me, 'discipline' (a strict set of rules that controls an
activity) is both RaceWalking and 50-Km-RaceWalking. It depends on the
level of abstraction of the rules. If a competition is classified as
<50K_RW> race, the system may understand that it is a <RW> competition.

[ X ] RW
 |- [ ] 5K RW
 |- [ ] 20K RW
 |- [ X ] 50K RW
...

EAA considers 100m, 400m and Race Walk as disciplines at the same level.

It's just my opinion, I see no agreement anywhere. :-)

All the best,

Martin
