Dear all, as we now know that the LDK organizers are considering to postpone the conference, it is possible that the anticipated OntoLex face-to-face meeting would be postponed as well. In particular if we expect it to be a physical event, that also makes a lot of sense. However, I think it would be great if there could still have some conversation on current directions of OntoLex development. At the moment, we the only regular OntoLex telcos are on dedicated submodules (FrAC, and, hopefully, morphology, soon again), but there is no place to discuss overall directions. In the light of some more recent developments, that should not wait until September. In the context of the currently running series of FrAC telcos, it was suggested that - there should be a separate series of telcos on aspects of multimodality (one designated call so far, others upcomping), - there is need for discussing applications of OntoLex for terminology resources, and - certain aspects of VarTrans may require reconsideration or extension. Together with the morphology discussion revived soon, hopefully, this will basically means we expect to run five, if not more, parallel (!) series of regular OntoLex calls. As very few people are likely to participate in all of them, my feeling is that this needs some degree of orchestration, say, some kind of protocol, or, at least, general overall OntoLex calls to make sure all of this will still work together in the end. Best, Christian
