Community Group for ODRL Profile

Hi All,

I'm please to report that some suppliers, vendors, and consumers of market data  are going to launch a Community Group to develop a market-data profile for ODRL. It's called the Rights Automation for Market Data CG.

Market data is mostly pricing and trading data for stocks and commodities (and their associated indices) generated on exchanges. The licenses controlling its use are frequently complex, and can tightly segment the underlying data.

Our final objective is to automate rights-management along the data supply chain to drive efficiencies in financial markets.

We expect other financial institutions to join this group as we publicise the profile and its ambition.

We'd welcome the interest, support, and expertise of the ODRL community as we take this journey.
