odrl-ISSUE-11: How to define anonymous policies [ODRL Version 2.0 Core Model (Public)] http://www.w3.org/community/odrl/track/issues/11 Raised by: Michael Steidl On product: ODRL Version 2.0 Core Model (Public) A basic assumption of ODRL is that each asset should have its individual policy. IPTC members (= new providers = news agencies and newspapers) are raising the business requirement that it should be possible to have policies without an identified asset - and the assets (the news items) point to this policy to employ it. (In simple words: not a policy points to the asset but the asset to the policy) A great practical advantage is that the same policy could be used for many assets. Thank you for considering this Michael
