Advance notice: Work in progress on Web Payment Security Interest Group Charter

Hello,

This is an advance notice that the Web Payment Security Interest Group
has begun work to renew its charter:
    https://github.com/w3c/strategy/issues/491

The draft charter is available at:
    https://www.w3.org/securepay/charter-2025.html

There are only minor changes from the current charter:
    https://www.w3.org/securepay/diff-202501.html

The proposal is to extend the group for two years until 31 March 2027
with no other material changes to the current charter [1].

We welcome input and feedback on the draft charter. If you wish to make
your comments public, you are welcome to send emails to the group’s
public mailing list <public-securepay@w3.org> (archived at [2]).

W3C Members may discuss on the member-confidential mailing list
<w3c-ac-forum@w3.org>.

We anticipate formal Advisory Committee review of the charter to begin
in February.

If you should have any questions or need further information, please
feel free to contact Ian Jacobs <ij@w3.org>.

This announcement follows section 4.1 of the Process Document:

Thank you,

For Philippe le Hégaret, W3C Strategy and Project Lead;
