Hello,

This is an advance notice that the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI)
Interest Group has begun work to renew its charter:
   https://github.com/w3c/strategy/issues/441

The draft charter is available at:
   https://w3c.github.io/charter-drafts/2025/ig-wai.html

The proposal is to extend the group for two years from rechartering date
with no other material changes to the current charter [1].

We welcome input and feedback on the draft charter. If you wish to make
your comments public, you're welcome to raise issues at:
   https://github.com/w3c/charter-drafts/issues

W3C Members may discuss on the member-confidential mailing list
<w3c-ac-forum@w3.org>.

We anticipate formal Advisory Committee review of the charter to begin
in May.
