Dear Advisory Committee Representative,
[This announcement will be forwarded to W3C group chairs]

The Service Workers Working Group charter [1] is hereby extended until 
31 October 2022.

The mission of the Service Workers Working Group is to enable Web 
applications to take advantage of persistent background processing, 
including hooks to enable bootstrapping of web applications while offline.

This extension will give W3C additional time to prepare a new charter.

More information about the Service Workers Working Group can be found on 
its home page [2].

The group is currently chaired by Jake Archibald (Google) and Matt 
Falkenhagen (Google).
