Dear members of the Devices and Sensors Working Group,

The Devices and Sensors Working Group charter [1] is hereby extended
until 30 November 2020.

The mission of the Devices and Sensors Working Group is to create
client-side APIs that enable the development of Web Applications that
interact with device hardware and sensors.

Discussions around the comments raised on the proposed charter [2] during
the AC review are still ongoing. The Group will try to find community
consensus on the comments raised and the Director expects to issue a
decision on November 20. The Advisory Board and the TAG are conducting
in parallel an experiment on the formal objection [3].

More information about this group and information about participation
can be found on its home page [4].

The group is chaired by Anssi Kostiainen (Intel) and Reilly
Grant (Google).

If you have any questions or need further information, please contact
the Devices and Sensors Working Group Team Contact, Fuqiao Xue <xfq@w3.org>.

This extension follows section 5.2.5 of the W3C Process Document:
