Hello, The W3C Advisory Committee received an advance notice today that participants of the Web Application Security Working Group [1] are working on an updated charter [2]. The updated draft includes progress on many existing deliverables and expands the WG's scope to include Vulnerability Mitigation and work on the Web Security Model. We welcome W3C Advisory Committee representatives' general expressions of interest and support on <w3c-ac-forum@w3.org>, and public comments and suggestions to <public-webappsec@w3.org> (public archive [3]). If W3C Advisory Committee representatives wish to make member-confidential comments, please send them to <member-charters-review@w3.org>, which has a Member archive. A formal Advisory Committee Review for the new charter is expected in January 2017.
