Hi Shaun, The multilingual use case would probably require a slightly different solution (than the solution the IG drafted). It would depend if the application wants to access all entries at the same time, or one at a time. It's certainly worth looking at it. -ys -----Original Message----- From: Shaun McCance [mailto:shaunm@gnome.org] Sent: Wednesday, May 09, 2012 8:48 AM To: public-multilingualweb-lt@w3.org Subject: Re: targetPointer Requirement update On Thu, 2012-05-03 at 18:49 -0600, Yves Savourel wrote: > Hi, > > FYI: I've updated the 'targetPointer' requirement: > > http://www.w3.org/International/multilingualweb/lt/wiki/Requirements#t > argetPointer > > -ys Is this only intended for bilingual formats, or also for formats that store arbitrarily many translations of given elements? It's not currently possible to reliably create such files using ITS. I do have some experimental code in itstool for this, but it makes some strong assumptions about the format. -- Shaun
