No, the sequence "]]>" appearing in character content makes the document not well-formed. So rather than putting that wart into MicroXML, James banned ">" from character content altogether, and the initial basis simply bans it everywhere. (There's precedent: the reason all JSON keys have to be quoted is to that the stupid list of JavaScript reserved words don't have to be in the spec.) -- I am expressing my opinion.
