Alan, Thank you very much for your valuable review of the XMP mapping table. I have incorporated your feedback in the Ontology specification http://dev.w3.org/2008/video/mediaann/mediaont-1.0/mediaont-1.0.html#d0e11405 Also thank you for providing the Flash F4V container mapping table. It is also incorporated at http://dev.w3.org/2008/video/mediaann/mediaont-1.0/mediaont-1.0.html#d0e12680 Again, we appreciated your help here. best, thierry. I've also attached a revised XMP table that incorporates these changes: > > - identifier - "A URI identifying a media resource" > xmp:Nickname and xmp:Label are not URIs, should be removed. > > - locator - "The logical address at which the resource can be accessed", "file URI from system" > This is not an XMP item, should not be in the XMP table. > > - createDate > Not clear if exif:DateTimeOriginal belongs here, it is just a runtime-only copy from the binary Exif in a photo. xmpDM:AudioModeDate and xmpDM:metadataModDate are deprecated. > > - location - "A tuple identifying an optional name and/or an optional set of geographic coordinates, in a given system" > xmpDM:shotLocation should be removed, it is intended for Hollywood-style script info like "interior, kitchen, daytime". If exif:DateTimeOriginal belongs under createDate, then the Exif GPS items belong here. > > - keyword > Remove pdf:Keywords, it is just an alias for dc:subject. > > - Technical properties > Should be a note that technical properties in the XMP are generally not authoritative, and possibly not in the stored XMP.
