I read in the minutes the following resolution:

RESOLUTION: extend the LC period until the end of August.

I am unsure if this mean that the LC period is extended for the external 
groups to provide comments (which we should to announce) or if the MAWG 
will start responding to the comments end of August.

If it is the first case, extending the LC period for external groups, I 
think it would not be a good choice. My experience is that Groups 
provide LC comments at the end of the period and in lots of cases, after 
that period. If we extend until end of August, we will delay reception 
of comments maybe until end of september.

I would prefer to kept the current deadline and ping external Groups to 
send their comments (as we have currently received very few of them).
