RE: Proposal for modifications to the Media Ontology Document

Thanks a lot for the proposed changes. I agree to most of them, find my comments to the others below:

I suggest to drop it, actually the mapping table tells how much semantics is preserved or lost.

I'm not sure about renaming. First, we give a brief definition of the properties (that sentence is also called definition in the Dublin Core Spec). Second, if we are going to define data types in future version it is even more justified to call it definition.

I agree to merging. Looking at the table, I'm not sure if the arbitrary examples for each of the formats provide any useful information here.

We had this discussion about different layers of conformance (more formal and more informal ones) some time ago. I think it could be mentioned on the introduction of this document that we have now the set of properties, for which a more formal definition might be provided in future version. (Simply adding data types is a step into this direction.)
