Dipping my toe into contributing

Hi everyone, I'm interested in this project! I have a good math background but little CS and very little web development background, so I'm not sure if there's any way for me to contribute to the project, but I figured I would send a feeler out.

To get a sense of what I know and can do: I basically have the the knowledge from intro courses in Java, Python, and JavaScript. And I know Data Structures and Algorithms, and some very basic understanding of interpreters and functional programming.

So I doubt if a person like me is useful for a project like this, but I figured I'd say hi and see what yall think!
