Yeah, I figured they might balk at creating an account. That's why I
suggested just sending me a note.

Sure, but on the other hand, doesn't it also make sense to try to get them
to participate as early as possible, so that we're less likely to have to
radically change our approach later in the process? What we have to tempt
them with is making sure their concerns are taken into account, which isn't
much but I think it has value.

Sure, if they knew about it. Unless one is actively interested in the W3C,
it's easy to miss these groups.
