Hi guys, Dave L. first stab to create a logo for JSON-LD reminded of a logo contest I've seen a while ago but I couldn't remember which it was. Turns out it was Apache Flex (http://flex.apache.org/). They've ended up getting a very beautiful logo (actually lots of them but there contest site is no longer online). I just looked into their repos and found the "design brief" the used to announce the logo contest. I shamelessly copied and adopted it for JSON-LD, see here: https://github.com/json-ld/json-ld.org/wiki/Logo-Contest What do you think about running a logo contest? I think a lot of designers are looking for opportunities like these to show their creativity and capabilities and to give something back to the community. In the worst case we won't receive any submissions. In the best, we might end up with a really nice and shiny logo. I think it's worth a try. Cheers, Markus
