そうですね．木田さんのいうように現実に問題もあるのであれば，
なんらかの答えを出すということではなく，和文とラテン文字の混
植をどう考えるかというテーマを設定して，参考となる情報を提供
するという点は必要かもしれません．

例えば，次のようの問題があるかと思います．広げていけば，考え
る問題はたくさんあります．（こうした点で，みなさん，いろいろ
と苦労されているのかもしれません．）

過去の活字組版や写真植字では，どのような議論があったのか．

和文と組み合わせる欧文フォントは，どう考えたらよいのか．
特に，この問題は，和文フォントに従属しているフォントか，別の
欧文ファンを用いるか，また，和文のゴシック体には，サンセリ
フを用いるかの，それともローマンのボールド体を用いるのか．
また，プロポーショナルか，等幅かという問題もあります．表組で
考えれば，アラビア数字は等幅で，二分が望ましいという考えもあります．

そもそも，どんなフォントが和文と調和がとれているのか，どこに
注意したらよいか，という問題もあります．

その上で，行送り方向の配置位置は，デフォルトはどうなってお
り，その変更の手段には何があり，変更する際に何に注意したらよ
いか，という問題になっていくのでしょう．

さらに，和欧文の間隔も伝統的に四分ということになっているが，
これは制御できるので，見直す必要があるでしょう．特にジャステ
ィファイしないであれば，

以上は，横組を前提としていますが，縦組を考慮すると，さらに多
くの問題が出てきます．
