Hi Everyone,

As mentioned in the call I am putting together an email for new participants of the Immersive Web Working Group.

I hope to provide a comprehensive guide for new participants to find everything they need to get involved, if there is anything you feel is missing please let me know and I will add it.

Ada ___________ Hi,

Welcome to the Immersive Web working group!

Please read over the [Code of Conduct](https://immersive-web.github.io/homepage/code-of-conduct.html) which we follow in addition to the [W3C’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct](https://www.w3.org/Consortium/cepc/).

We have regular teleconference calls.

-
Details for joining the call can be found [here](https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/internal-immersive-web/2019Feb/0002.html)

-
Minutes are taken via IRC: [irc.w3.org](http://irc.w3.org/):6667 #immersive-web [Instructions](https://github.com/immersive-web/administrivia/blob/master/IRC.md)

Minuting is taken via IRC so please familiarise yourself with the [instructions](https://github.com/immersive-web/administrivia/blob/master/IRC.md), as you may be asked to take minutes.

The GitHub organisation for the group is: https://github.com/immersive-web/

If you would like to start working on the spec, issues which are good issues to get started with are tagged [help-wanted](https://github.com/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=user%3Aimmersive-web+label%3A%22help+wanted%22+state%3Aopen&type=Issues&ref=advsearch&l=&l=). If you would like to start working on these [email the chairs](mailto:immersive-web-chairs@w3.org).

We also have a GitHub bot to help us with managing issues. There are three commands you can leave as comments in issues:

-
"/triage [message to the editor]"

This is to raise it to the attention of editors to get clarification or request a change (e.g. in assigned milestone).

-
"/agenda [discussion topic]"

This is to request the issue to go on the next agenda with a message as to why you want it discussed.

-
"/fixes [issue number]"

This is for joining together and labeling issues which are fixed by a pending PR.
