It is not the people missing something, actually it is the computer program
is asking people to make clear distinguish of the alternatives in one second.
But the Mongolian people using Traditional Mongolian (not Cyrillic Mongolian) is accustomed to
the handle the writing shape quickly, but not to the original pronunciation.
They are using it in speaking language, but the pronunciation is quite different with the original pronunciation.
If you use the original pronunciation to speak Mongolian, it will not be the understandable to Mongolian people.
This is why there are so many people mistake the words input (spelling).

You can imagine that if we asked to write English not using the alphabet,
but using international phonetic mark to input in computer. We can assume
that all of the phonetic mark is on the keyboard and we are all remembered the each phonetic marks keyboard position.
The people can exactly input all of the English word correctly.
For example, there three phonetic mark ʌ, æ, ɒ, eɪ for English A,

Even the international phonetic mark spelling is same with what we speaking in daily life.
It is not easy things to spell each word in a couple of seconds 100% correctly.
Maybe my explanation is not the absolute one, it is my assumption.

I am not sure what objectives are you considering,
In current stage, We do really not need to discuss this more.
Why I raised this is to let the related members can see the whole picture of the Mongolian Encoding.

If you have any urgent requirement please let me know.

Thanks and regards,

Jirimutu

As far as I can make out, knowing the Cyrillic spelling (аав) and knowing what the Mongolian script spelling looks like still leaves one with two alternatives - O and U. Are people missing an obvious clue as to the spelling?
