Michelle: question on i18n activity proposal, the ITS IG proposal
Felix explains ITS IG proposal
Richard: scope of ITS IG will be more limited to schema creation,
ITS implementation issues etc.
... it makes sense to have that on a separate list
Michelle: thanks for the answer
Change of telephone conference time?

other people like Andrew
David will create a list of proposed times
David: will re-use mail from Addison for that

after the daylight savings change [recorded in

Felix: all comments fine with me
no other comments
Richard: owner for comments?
... could be me?
Felix: fine with me
... need to find out in general: what is the relation between HTML 5
and CSS? not necessarily i18n specific, though
Richard: looked at XHTML 2 spec, it does not mention right alignment
at all
... need to have that in HTML 5 and XHTML 2 as well
... HTML spec says that BIDI information is inherited by block
elements, but not by inline elements
<scribe> ACTION: Richard to send BIDI comments on behalf of core WG
[recorded in
[23]http://www.w3.org/2008/02/27-core-minutes.html#action02]
<scribe> ACTION: Richard to look into alignment issue in XHTML 2 and
HTML 5 closer [recorded in
[24]http://www.w3.org/2008/02/27-core-minutes.html#action03]
Richard: this comment page will be a growing list
David: are HTML 5 folks changing without versioning
Richard: we are commenting on editor's versions here
Felix: not seen clearly how they indicate changes between various
versions of the editor's draft
Need to look into CSS Namespace Module?

[25]
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/member-i18n-core/2008Feb/0008.html
Richard: had a look at it
... tried to understand the syntax, was wondering about IRI support
... not sure if we will have questions yet
Felix: I will ask for more time (two more weeks) to submit comments
<scribe> ACTION: Felix to ask for more time (two more weeks) to
submit comments about CSS namespace module [recorded in
[26]http://www.w3.org/2008/02/27-core-minutes.html#action04]
Selectors API Comments Responses
agreement to wait until Addison is back
Architecture WG Closed
Richard: documents that used to be under Architecture WG are now
under our responsibility
we will publish them as Notes, not Recommendations
scribe: that includes "character model resource identifiers",
"character model normalization", "language tags and locale
identifiers"
... we work on two other documents "text directions for content
authors of Hebrew"
... and "character encoding declaration best practices", to be
published as notes
OWL 1.1 FPWD
Felix to review OWL 1.1, next week
AOB
other topics also postponed
