Excuse my bluntness, @realfish, but Chicago gets a lot typography wrong. Same with APA. Or Microsoft Word (try mentioning Microsoft Word to an experienced book designer – I’m not talking about myself – all you’ll get is “Microsoft Word is not a page layout program”). But if we have to use “first-line indent”, I’m not going to argue with you.
