NightFurySL2001 has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/clreq: == About tilde in vertical typesetting == In the website, it is noted that U+FF5E FULLWIDTH TILDE should be rotated 90° clockwise in vertical writing mode as follow: > 1. Em dashes, ellipsis, and connector marks need to be rotated 90 degrees clockwise in vertical writing mode. But most fonts not only rotate the symbol by 90°, but also flipped the sign horizontally to fit our writing style. Should this part be clarified? P/s: I would actually suggest that this part should be handled by font but not the rendering engine.
