Looking forward to the proposal. Since I guess this is going to be
controversial, how can we make sure we do not get lost in discussions?

My feeling is, we need moderation and a procedure.
Can we collect possible use cases and work by majority vote per use case
after a fixed period where everybody can chime in? Client development
could start when the first use case has been agreed upon.
