Updated (HTML5) draft of MathML published

I'm pleased to announce that W3C have published two "Proposed Edited
Recommendations". The official W3C announcement is here

http://www.w3.org/blog/news/archives/3655

The MathML3 draft is

http://www.w3.org/TR/2014/PER-MathML3-20140211/

and the XML Entities draft is

http://www.w3.org/TR/2014/PER-xml-entity-names-20140211/

The text of the drafts is identical to the public editors' drafts at

http://www.w3.org/Math/draft-spec/

and

http://www.w3.org/2003/entities/2007doc/

So should not have any surprises for members of this list, however
this is an important revision of the official versions in
the www.w3.org/TR area, mostly updating to take account of usage in
HTML5 as well as XML. In particular this version has a normative
reference to the HTML 5 parser specification in the HTML5 spec,
and almost all examples have been checked to see that the syntax used
is compatible with both XML and HTML parsing. (A couple of examples
specifically demonstrating extensibility via XML Namespaces have a note
to the effect that that they do not work in HTML contexts).

Any readers who are in W3C member companies, please ask your AC
Representative to cast a vote in favour of progressing this to full
"Recommendation" status during the review period (up to 11th March).

Any comments on the drafts (other than the official AC Review, for which
there is a form linked from the status section of the spec) should be
sent to the Math WG list (www-math@w3.org).

David
