Assignee: erika.doyle@microsoft.com
Summary: Add coap and coaps to the whitelist'ed scheme list
QA Contact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: tho@koanlogic.com
Hardware: All
Status: NEW
Version: unspecified
Component: HTML5 spec
Product: HTML WG
In Section 6.5.1.2 "Custom scheme and content handlers", it'd be good to
include coap (http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-core-coap-12#section-6.1)
and coaps (http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-core-coap-12#section-6.2) in
the whitelisted schemes list.
This would allow browsers to interact with HTTP-CoAP proxies without the need
for a plugin.
