OS/Version: Windows NT
Status: NEW
Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: HTML5 spec (editor: Ian Hickson)
AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch
ReportedBy: addison@lab126.com

3.1.3 Resource metadata management
http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/dom.html#resource-metadata-management
The 'lastModified' value uses the "MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss" format. It's not clear
if this is done for historical/compatibility reasons (it is, isn't it?) and
there should be a reference to why this particular format is wanted.
