https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=16960 Summary: i18n-ISSUE-89: Time zones and local dates and times Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows NT Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: HTML5 spec (editor: Ian Hickson) AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch ReportedBy: addison@lab126.com QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org, public-html@w3.org 2.5.5.4 Local dates and times http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/common-microsyntaxes.html#local-dates-and-times This section defines 'local dates and times', which is a date-and-time value *without* a time zone. This type seems problematic because it does not deal with the time zone problem. Its relationship to either floating or incremental times is completely arbitrary.
