At least for the 'north' side of the CDM this should not be too difficult - at Netflix we have been through several iterations of such APIs with device vendors and could certainly provide the results of that experience to anyone who is interested. Please find out what you can publish publicly, and then publish it. I know it's easier to discuss these things in private; certainly easier with in-house council... But give us what you can. Anything technical you post may make things easier on other developers. Netflix has cross-platform experience that few other companies do. I realize they also have many NDAs they would have signed in the process. -Charles
