FYI, I have now filed 4 bugs against Polyglot Markup, to address some 
of the issues that the XML/HTML TF discussed:

A) Formally define polyglot’s relationship to HTML5
   ("applicable spec")

B) Formally define that polyglot can be extended

C) HTML parser in toolchain vs polyglot: 
   Say that such an HTML parser may produce polyglots

D) polyglot markup and extensions via <script> (and <style>)
