I have updated the Change Proposal details indicating that Microsoft has volunteered to edit. Ultimately, of course, the decision of who to appoint to edit is a decision of the chairs. We have volunteered. There may be other volunteers. The chairs might choose to approach someone else. That is their call. Cheers, Adrian. -----Original Message----- From: Paul Cotton Sent: Wednesday, April 18, 2012 2:32 PM To: Tony Ross; Adrian Bateman Cc: public-html@w3.org; Anne van Kesteren; Sam Ruby Subject: RE: CfC: Close ISSUE-198 innerHTML-patent-policy by Amicable Resolution >1) If someone from Microsoft is going to become the editor the "Details" section of the CP is incorrect. >2) Is someone from Microsoft becoming the editor of that document and publishing that document part of this CP and CfC for this CP or not? The Chairs would like to recommend that the author of the ISSUE-198 Change Proposal [1] clarify the change proposal to make clear what is being proposed with regard to the editorship and publication of this document. If and when this is done then the Chairs will restart this CfC. /paulc HTML WG co-chair [1] http://www.w3.org/html/wg/wiki/ChangeProposals/Reference_a_W3C_version_of_DOM_Parsing_and_Serialization PS: I am also sending this email to Adrian since I know that Tony is off on personal leave. It's not clear from your boilerplate text or the "Details" section of the CP. -- Anne van Kesteren http://annevankesteren.nl/
