Bug 10830 was not intended to be WONTFIX, I was sincere in my request for 
feedback in comment 27. It has since been escalated to issue 172.

May I suggest that issue 172 be closed pending the actual resolution of 
the bug according to the working group process. I would be happy to 
escalate the bug myself should the bug in fact result in a WONTFIX 
resolution.
