http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=11842 Summary: Default track enabling for video elements seems to miss a qualifier Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: HTML5 spec (editor: Ian Hickson) AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch ReportedBy: silviapfeiffer1@gmail.com QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org, public-html@w3.org In the specification of the <track> element, we now have a @default attribute, which is great. The spec says: "The default attribute, if specified, indicates that the track is to be enabled if the user's preferences do not indicate that another track would be more appropriate. There must not be more than one track element with the same parent node with the default attribute specified." I think that last sentence should say: "There must not be more than one track element for all tracks of the same @kind with the same parent node with the default attribute specified." Note the change "for all tracks of the same @kind". The idea is that you can activate a track as default per @kind, not just a single track for all of the tracks of a video. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
