http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=13552 Summary: confusing, seemingly contradictory text in 4.10.7 Product: HTML WG Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows NT Status: NEW Keywords: a11y, a11ytf Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: HTML5 spec (editor: Ian Hickson) AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch ReportedBy: cyns@microsoft.com QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org, public-html@w3.org “Each input element is either mutable or immutable. Except where otherwise specified, an input element is always mutable. Similarly, except where otherwise specified, the user agent should not allow the user to modify the element's value or checkedness.” Is the second sentence referring to immutable objects? "Similarly" seems to say that it applies to mutable elements, but contradicts the first sentence. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
