Summary: update prose about HTTP Link header
Product: HTML WG
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
URL: http://dev.w3.org/html5/spec/Overview.html#the-link-el
ement
OS/Version: Windows NT
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: HTML5 spec (editor: Ian Hickson)
AssignedTo: ian@hixie.ch
ReportedBy: julian.reschke@gmx.de
QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
CC: mike@w3.org, public-html-wg-issue-tracking@w3.org,
public-html@w3.org
<http://dev.w3.org/html5/spec/Overview.html#the-link-element> currently says:
"Some versions of HTTP defined a Link: header, to be processed like a series of
link elements."
Now that RFC 5988 is the official spec for the Link header field this could use
some rewording, such as:
"RFC 5988 defines the HTTP Link: header field, to be processed..."
