The Testing Task force update at today's conference call will be to make sure that the task force is moving in the right direction. The reason to bring this up is because the group is now starting to make a transition from getting the group setup and having some submitted tests to having tests that are considered approved and correct per the HTML5 specification. The 'approval' process has had good feedback from multiple sources and is documented at our wiki (http://www.w3.org/html/wg/wiki/Testing). Key Points * The license for tests is correct (per philippe) * All tests will be stored on the W3C's HG (mecurial server) * Tests will be approved overtime, rather than giving the test suite a label (e.g. CSS http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/Test/) * Approved Tests will reside in an approved folder so that it is super clear which tests are valid and correct * All changes to an approved test will be done through a bugzilla bug If you have any feedback, please feel free to discuss on the public-html-testsuite@w3.org list. -Kris
