(bcc: HTML WG) All of Philip Taylor's RDFa tests have now been integrated into the RDFa Test Suite: http://github.com/msporny/rdfa-test-suite/commit/887c494ff514f7a2c7c6e7d55ffe1c958adfefd2 Many, many thanks to Philip for putting these tests together and submitting a patch to the RDFa Test Suite. To access the new tests (TC#127 - TC#171), you can do the following: Go to: http://rdfa.digitalbazaar.com/test-suite/ Select the following values: Test Suite: "XHTML+RDFa 1.0", or "HTML4 RDFa 1.0", or "HTML5+RDFa 1.0" Unit Test Status: "Unreviewed" There are more tests for HTML4/5 than there are for XHTML (due to the nature of the problems Philip is testing). I have only had time to look over the new tests briefly, so there may be issues with them. One such issue is that the SPARQL for some of the tests are not specific enough... but that's an easy fix and that issue shouldn't prevent the tests from being integrated into the test suite. Here is how we are probably going to proceed: 1. I will re-review the SPARQL, together with Philip, and fix any issues that we see. 2. The RDFa Task Force will review all of the unit tests and approve or reject them. I expect that most of the tests will be approved. 3. Implementors that are concerned with HTML4 and HTML5 will update their implementations to be compatible with the new tests. These steps will happen after HTML+RDFa FPWD is updated to pass W3C publication rules and is officially published by W3C. So, maybe two to three weeks from today if everything goes according to plan... and we all know how often that happens around here. :) -- manu -- Manu Sporny (skype: msporny, twitter: manusporny) President/CEO - Digital Bazaar, Inc. blog: The Pirate Bay and Building an Equitable Culture http://blog.digitalbazaar.com/2009/08/30/equitable-culture/
