While a stronger disclaimer about the D Principles such as Laura and I have suggested would have been quite nice, I think that it would have done little to refocus the discussions here. There was never much question, in retrospect, that certain voices would be heard, present or absent these very weird aphorisms of first principle, nor that attempts to broaden the vocabulary of the metalanguage of our discussion would be mulched by some sort of diesel-powered combine (I had really been expecting solar in this day and age!). cheers David
