Mark,
Nothing cloak and dagger. Steven was invited and it is just a proposal. My
admin indicated that Steven confirmed attendance but he did not show up.
Shane said something about a vacation this morning. I really don't know
what happened.
I asked Steven if I should invite you and Shane last week and he never
responded.
I posted to the xhtml 2 working group list too.
We all need to review the discussion and talk.
I am in the xhtml WG. This is not to say that we have agreement from ANY
of the working groups - just that we had a discussion and tried to come to
a common proposal. All that we really covered was the aria- issue.
What I do not see is the working groups talking together. That is what I
tried to do.
I am trying to schedule another meeting which includes Steven. You and
Shane are both welcome.

AM Re: Meeting with SVG, XHTML, WAI
people to move forward on ARIA as a
cross cutting technology
Hi Rich,
I don't see any advance reference to this meeting on our list, in our
minutes, or on IRC. It all looks a little cloak-and-dagger to me, but
I'm sure there is a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why it
wasn't announced in advance, or why people like myself and Shane were
not invited.
Perhaps you could post that 'reasonable explanation' when you have a
moment, or alternatively give the meeting a different title, and not
imply that the XHTML WG was included.
Regards,
Mark
