ISSUE-5 (button-type-radio): Is there a need to expand the available <button> types to include 'radio' or 'toggle'? [HTML 5 spec] http://www.w3.org/html/wg/tracker/issues/ Raised by: Maciej Stachowiak On product: HTML 5 spec This was raised at the W3C HTML WG meeting in Cambridge by Maciej Stachowiak during his "HTML+CSS as Flash Killer" presentation. Currently there is no way to attach child content to an HTML radio <input> and the <button> element (which does allow child text nodes) does not have a matching type for similar interaction purposes. Because of this Maciej had to implement what seems like a basic toggling functionality in JavaScript. ## Links * http://webkit.org/blog/138/css-animation/
