See https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-html-media/2016Sep/0093.html for the CfC for moving MSE to Proposed Recommendation. That WG Decision stated: > Since there were no objections to this CfC and several indications of support, the resolution passes and we will request the Director to approve transition of Media Source Extensions (MSE) to Proposed Recommendation. I would expect something similar in a WG Decision about the EME CfC (if it passes). /paulc -----Original Message----- From: Zak Rogoff [mailto:zak@fsf.org] Sent: Monday, November 7, 2016 4:13 PM To: public-html-media@w3.org Subject: Re: Request transition of Encrypted Media Extensions (EME) to Proposed Recommendation A procedural question: If the Call for Consensus carries, will we receive a notification on this list at the time it is passed to the Director to approve the transition request? Or will we only receive a notification when the Director issues his decision? Thank you -- Zak Rogoff // Campaigns Manager Free Software Foundation
