The Media Task Force is issuing a Call for Consensus to decide that MSE ISSUE-28 is a V.Next feature. https://github.com/w3c/media-source/issues/28 This means that this feature will NOT be added to the current MSE Recommendation track specification [1]. This matter was discussed at the recent Media Task Force F2F meeting: http://www.w3.org/html/wg/media/track/actions/101 http://www.w3.org/2015/10/29-html-media-minutes.html#item16 Silence will be taken to mean there is no objection, but positive responses are encouraged. If there are no objections by Monday November 16, this resolution will carry. /paulc on behalf of the HTML WG co-chairs [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/2015/CR-media-source-20150331/ Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329
