[Bug 12466] Why the word pop? Seems so ambiguous. I would have gone with statechange, or historychange. I'd like to know the reason behind the decision for popstate?

Change Description: no spec change
Rationale: You don't seem to be asking for any spec change, just asking about
the current terminology.  If you would like the spec to be changed, please
reopen.  The current spec already seems to be implemented here, like in Firefox
4, so it's very unlikely it would be changed without compelling reason.
