Summary: Spec says that mapping from DOM to tree-model is not
necessary, but later gives such a mapping
Product: HTML WG
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: HTML+RDFa (editor: Manu Sporny)
AssignedTo: msporny@digitalbazaar.com
ReportedBy: mjs@apple.com
QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
CC: mike@w3.org, public-html@w3.org,

Section 2 says:
"The HTML5 and XHTML5 DOMs are each a super-set of the tree-based model on
which the RDFa processing rules operate. Therefore, a mapping mechanism to
translate from a DOM to a tree-model is not necessary."
But then section 7 gives the mapping that was claimed to be unnecessary.
