Summary: Should resource selection algorithm be run when src=""
is removed?
Product: HTML WG
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: HTML5 spec bugs
AssignedTo: dave.null@w3.org
ReportedBy: simonp@opera.com
QAContact: public-html-bugzilla@w3.org
CC: ian@hixie.ch, mike@w3.org, public-html@w3.org
The spec says
"If a src attribute of a media element that is in a Document and whose
networkState has the value NETWORK_EMPTY is set or changed, the user agent must
invoke the media element's resource selection algorithm."
Should the resource selection algorithm be run when the attribute is removed?
Please state explicitly. (It makes a difference if the element has <source>
children.)
