Systematic access to EXIF, IPTC, XMP image description metadata

Hello everyone,

For the task force's information there is a thread on "systematic
access to media/plugin metadata" on public-html [1].

Henri mentioned use cases. I put up a Wiki page regarding a way to
directly access EXIF, IPTC, XMP image descriptions. The page has a
couple of exposing metadata use cases and a bit about exposing via
browsers like has been done with longdesc.

Everyone please feel free to add other use cases and ideas to that page.
