Thanks to everyone who filled out the scheduling survey for a face to face meeting. Although there is no single optimum, it seemed like the best plan was to meet in April in Europe. In the task force meeting today, we made the following plan if no objections: Dates: 6 and 7 April 2010 (Tuesday and Wednesday) Location: Birmingham, UK Please respond *by end of day 8 February 2010* if you think we should not proceed with this plan. There is no time or location that everybody can attend. But if you feel your participation is vital, you cannot attend at this time, and you could attend at an alternate time or place, that might be a reason you would object. I expect we will have provisions for remote participation, so if you can't travel you can still be involved, even if only for some of it. Once we finalize the dates and location of the meeting, I will send around logistic information. We know that a meeting agenda is important for some people to get travel approval, so that will be available soon as well.
