In case you've missed this... W3C is pleased to announce a W3C Workshop: Data on the Web 23-24 April 2013 London, UK http://www.w3.org/2013/04/odw/ The Open Data on the Web workshop is jointly organized with the Open data Institute and the Open Knowledge Foundation and hosted at the Google Campus in London 23-24 April. Participants will help prioritize W3C's agenda in the area of data on the Web at a time when a number of working groups have either completed or are close to completing their charters. As well the promises of government transparency and efficiency, the claim that is made most frequently of open data is that it is the "new oil" that is driving the digital economy. At this workshop, participants will discuss their experiences of realizing this aim and identify what's needed to make it easier. Learn more about topics, dates for position papers, how to participate and more on the Workshop home page: http://www.w3.org/2013/04/odw/ If you have any questions, please contact Phil Archer <phila@w3.org>. If you are interested in sponsoring this event, please contact Alan Bird <abird@w3.org>. -- Phil Archer W3C eGovernment http://philarcher.org +44 (0)7887 767755 @philarcher1
