Hello all, Michael Kay is not able to make it to our evening due to a conflicting appointment. So, we need to continue the search for a keynote speaker. I know the team had some other ideas, but something Steven said recently about Michael Sperberg-McQueen caused me to wonder if he might be a good next person to ask. Steven, do you think that your interactions with him would be sufficient, or would you advise looking elsewhere? If elsewhere, can people please post up some ideas of people along with rationale for choosing that person. It would help if the rationale explained A) how that person connects to the theme of the evening as expressed in the call for proposals, and B) why that person is well-known enough to attract more attendees. If we can't find a keynote, then we could just do 8 sessions, or expand the 6 sessions to 20 min. each. Thanks, John M.
